These outputs must be dimensionally precise and suitable for use in CAD/BIM environments, permitting processes, and on-site construction. To begin, you gather essential project information, such as the type and use of the structure, site dimensions, building footprint, floor count, preferred structural system, load assumptions, applicable design codes, and the intended drafting software. The final deliverables include structural plan sheets with grid references, dimensions, material specifications, and construction notes; structural framing and layout plans for each level; foundation sections and roof slab reinforcement schematics; a load distribution legend; and optional outputs like member schedules, bar bending details, and CAD block exports. The output is organized into construction-ready, annotated sheet sets (e.g., S1 for framing, S2 for foundations), and all elements are designed with clear load paths, architectural alignment, material safety, and practical constructability in mind.
